2nd gen iPhone -> SoftBank -> Japanese cells

Read the press release (in Japanese) that SoftBank was going to carry the iPhone for Japan. Went to SoftBank’s site and was amazed all over again @ Japanese cell phones. IMO, they’re a little too…. much? That up there looks like a TV =\ Just saying.

Btw, am I the only one who’s wondering how a CDMA carrier is going to provide service for a GSM phone?? Baffling.
